My Bio

Mike and Kristene O’Dell have been married for 27 years. They have a blended family of six children. Two of their children are married and they are blessed with four joyful grandchildren.

Kristene has over 20 years-experience as the point person in organizing large scale events. She has advanced the quality and effectiveness of ministry through writing and creating resources. Motivated by evangelism and missions, Kristene’s writing has been used in gospel tracts, media packets, newsletters, promotional publications, leadership training and books.

Kristene has a bachelor’s degree from SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary. She accomplished a four-year program in three years and was honored as the Valedictorian, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average.

Her degree is in Biblical studies with a focus on evangelism. The majority of her evangelism classes were spent studying the revival/healing movements of the past. Having been healed herself from a debilitating disease, and with a passion for prayer, Kristene knows the value of allowing Father to use creativity in bringing healing to the soul.

Missions into Southeast Asian countries is Kristene’s heart. She works with other missionaries and pastors in both Thailand and Cambodia. Her trips include ministry that both strengthens the church and takes the love of Christ into predominately Buddhist areas. Her goal this year is to raise up a company of writers that do missions. What could God do with writers who were committed to bringing change through their creative gift?

Kristene is available to speak at a wide variety of events. She moves in the gifts of the Spirit and believes in the power of prayer. She has an encouraging message to those who struggle to find their place in ministry. She is currently working on a book entitled Unleashing the Creative Personality. What if there is a coming Kingdom Renaissance that is an awakening of all the gifts lying dormant because of a lack of revelation? What if Father is calling His scribes to write Spirit-led material that spills out into the world and reveals foundational truths dressed in new wine skins?
