Pastor Dara Khea

Pastor Dara Khea works tirelessly to bring the Cambodian church together. He organizes prayer events to pray for Cambodia as well as the world. His church is Faith Family Church Cambodia. They are very active in outreach as they minister in rural villages, local hospitals, and on the riverfront of Phnom Pehn.

Pastor Phalla Phorn

Pastor Phalla Phorn was part of the team that organized our conference during our last visit. He is heavily involved in bringing light into the darkest places of Cambodia. Many people live on trash heaps because they can scrounge for food. Phalla goes to these people with food and the love of Christ.

Pastor Lim Lun

Pastor Lim Lun runs a children’s ministry in Phnom Phen. He also ministers to rural villages and those in need. He has such a servant’s heart and served out team greatly as he sat behind me and interpreted everything that was being said throughout the conference.

Pastor Makara Josiah

Pictured with the rest of the organizational team for our event in Cambodia, Pastor Makara Josiah brings laughter wherever he goes. He was an excellent interpreter along with Phalla Phorn. We are thankful for the relationships we have with these pastors and look forward to going back to Cambodia soon.

Books For Southeast Asian Children

Books for Cambodian Children

Last time in Cambodia, we visited a village school where 800 children attend. Pastor Dara works with the teachers so that they might be able to present the gospel to these children. Pastor Dara is planting a church in the village. This school is isolated in that there is not much outside influence. As a matter of fact, we were the first westerners to visit the village. One of Pastor Dara’s dreams is to create a library for these children of English books with a Biblical worldview. With that in mind, we will be donating towards the establishment of school libraries in Southeast Asian villages where we have pastoral relationships. If you would like to donate toward books or the shipping fees, you may donate here. If you would like to know more, please email at info@kristeneodell.com.

Sheila Landtroop and Allysa Rayburn

I have known Allysa (on the right) since she was a child. She calls me one of her mothers. Allysa has always been the kid who just loved Jesus and wasn’t afraid of being big and bold. She is now a missionary in Cambodia.

Sheila (on the left) has also been adopted as one of my own. We went to college together. She and another young lady lived with my family the last year of school. We all knew that when Sheila graduated, she would be serving Jesus in another country. She is now a missionary in Cambodia.

This is a picture of these two amazing young ladies meeting in Cambodia and letting me know that they had connected (and were scooter shopping). These two are lights that shine brightly for the Kingdom. You may follow their ministries and offer support through their Facebook pages.
