Cookie Cutter Creativity?

“You can't force creatives into a box. If you try, they'll no longer be creative. And no one will want your box.” ~ Ryan Lilly I am about to start writing a book. The main premise reads something like this: How creatives can overcome and be healed from the systematic...

“The things that have always been important: to be a good man, to try to live my life the way God would have me, to turn it over to Him that His will might be worked in my life, to do my work without looking back, to give it all I've got, and to take pride in my work...

“Perhaps one reason we are fascinated by cats is because such a small animal can contain so much independence, dignity, and freedom of spirit. Unlike the dog, the cat's personality is never bet on a human's. He demands acceptance on his own terms. ~ Lloyd Alexander...

Podcast

I was honored to be a guest on Mike and Cynthia Savage’s podcast entitled A Savage Perspective. To gain perspective on what a mission’s trip into South East Asia looks like, listen to my interview with my former professor and his wife. He also asks me some pointed questions on what it is like as a woman called into Evangelism/Missions.

Books for Southeast Asian Children

Last time in Cambodia, we visited a village school where 800 children attend. Pastor Dara works with the teachers so that they might be able to present the gospel to these children. Pastor Dara is planting a church in the village. This school is isolated in that there is not much outside influence. As a matter of fact, we were the first westerners to visit the village. One of Pastor Dara’s dreams is to create a library for these children of English books with a Biblical worldview. With that in mind, we will be donating towards the establishment of school libraries in Southeast Asian villages where we have pastoral relationships. If you would like to donate toward books or the shipping fees, you may donate here. If you would like to know more, please email at info@kristeneodell.com.
